Papaya is one of the most effective ingredients, and can
do wonders for the skin. It is called FRUIT OF ANGELS because of the goodness
to skin. Papaya contains plain enzymes which lightens skin and decreases
pigmentation. Alpha hydroxy acids present in it exfoliate dead cells
accumulated on the skin. The presence of vitamin A in it reduces dark spots and
acne scars.
HOW TO USE:
1. PAPAYA
It helps to provide
a natural GLOW to your skin.
Smash a few pieces of papaya
into a fine paste and apply over the skin. Let it rest for 15 minutes then
rinse it off with water. Do this 2-3 times a week.
2. PAPAYA WITH HONEY
This
combination brightens the skin, while also nourishing and hydrating it.
Blend 1 cup of chopped papaya
pieces into a fine paste, add 1 tbsp of honey and mix well.
WASH your skin and apply the paste,
let it rest for 15 minutes and rinse it off with water. You could also add 1
tbsp aloe Vera gel or lemon juice to the mixture.
3. PAPAYA WITH MILK
This
combination works as a skin firming and anti-aging mask. It also helps to
remove blemishes.
Blend 1 cup of papaya with 3
tbsp of milk and apply over the skin, let it rest for 20 minutes and rinse off
with lukewarm water. Do this 2-3 times a day.
4. PAPAYA WITH PINEAPPLE
Blend half cup papaya pieces
and 1 cup pineapple pieces, apply this mixture over the skin and let it
rest for 15 minutes. WASH off with water and pat the skin dry, or add 1
tbsp honey to the mixture and follow the same process. Do this 3 times a week.
5. PAPAYA AND SEA SALT SCRUB
Blend 1 cup of papaya pieces
and mix in 1 cup of coarse sea salt. During a bath, gently scrub this mixture
over the skin for 5 minutes. Let it rest for 15 minutes before cleaning
off with water. Do this once a week.
6. PAPAYA WITH GREEN TEA
This
process helps to reduce sun tan and dark spots, while also rejuvenating and
lightening the skin.
Steep 1 tea bag of green tea
in hot water for 5 -7 minutes, remove the tea bag and let the water cool
down. Blend 1 cup papaya to a smooth paste and combine with the tea. Apply over
the DKIN and let it rest for 15 minutes. Do this 3 times a week.
7. PAPAYA WITH ALMOND
Soak almond overnight and
blend to a smooth paste in the morning, blend 1 cup of papaya pieces and
combine with almonds. Apply over the DKIN and leave for 30 minutes, rinse
with lukewarm water followed by cold water. Do this twice a week.
8. HOMEMADE PAPAYA SOAP
Blend 1 cup of papaya pieces
to a smooth paste, melt 250g of melt and pour soap base in a double boiler or
microwave for 20 seconds. Combine the two and pour this mixture in soap
moulds and set aside for 3 hours. Use this soap daily.
